Dear Ninjenterns,
I know a lot’s been said about our bond throughout the years. How we have come to be nauseatingly inseparable, how we have come to be a support system for each other, and how we pretty much treat each other like family.
Allow me the freedom to say, though, that the scholarship program wouldn’t be what it is today had it not been the five of us who had started it. Had it been a different group with a different chemistry, who knows if this program would be known today for the value that it places on personal relationships?
I honestly love you all like family, and I’m so thankful for that awkward, awkward night when we first met at the block party as freshmen. We sat in the back, demanded seconds (Giada’s food was that good), and fumed indignantly that we didn’t get a chance to meet John Mayer or Tiger Woods. (To this day, only one of us has met him.)
Your presence in my life has become a lasting comfort - something very similar to coming home. And even though we only see each other every month or so, the reunions are always worth waiting for.
Love, Bianca
